Job summary

HGB Motorcycles, established in 1967 and based in Ruislip, West London, is seeking an experienced Service Advisor. You will greet customers, book motorcycles in for service or repair, and communicate the scope and costs of work.

You will liaise with the workshop to track progress, obtain authorisation for additional work, assist with parts enquiries, and ensure queries are resolved to the customer’s satisfaction. Warranty registrations and claims procedures will also be part of the role.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer-facing role in automotive or motorcycle sector preferred.
• Knowledge of motorcycles is essential.

We are looking for an experienced Service Advisor.

Working in a team environment you will be responsible for providing an excellent service to customers who want to book their motorcycles in for service or repair work. You will be required to liaise with the workshop to understand work in progress, keeping customers informed and where necessary requesting authorisation for additional work. You will also assist customers with parts enquires by understanding their requirements and ordering parts and accessories. You will also be responsible for effectively helping customers with their queries, ensuring you resolve them to the customers satisfaction. Warranty registering New motorcycles and warranty claims procedures will also part of the job.

Ideal Candidate

The successful candidate will have to be personable, highly motivated and be able to achieve consistently high levels of customer service and sales.

Previous experience in this role ideally in a motorcycle dealership. Applications from candidates who have experience of working in a Service/Aftersales role in the automotive trade are also welcome.

A knowledge of motorcycles is essential for this role.
