Hendy Group is seeking a Parts Driver in Redhill, England to collect and deliver parts to dealerships and trade customers within the local region. You will also assist with picking goods and processing documentation for distribution, while maintaining the vehicle and supporting colleagues.

A full UK driving licence and good knowledge of the local area are essential. Training will be provided; DBS checks may be required as part of pre-employment screening.

As one of our Parts Drivers you will be driving a transit-sized vehicle collecting and delivering parts to our dealerships and trade customers in the area within specified time frames. You will also be involved in the picking of goods and delivering documentation for distribution within the business. A good knowledge of the local geographical area would be an advantage and motor trade experience would be beneficial although full training will be provided. In this role, you will:

• Receiving and receipting the collection of payments from customers where required
• Collection and delivery of parts across the local region
• Keeping your vehicle well maintained and clean, raising any concerns about the vehicle's maintenance to your manager, Successful candidates will be subject to appropriate pre-employment checks, including right to work verification and DBS checks. An aptitude for building positive customer relationships - you will enjoy working in a team and supporting colleagues wherever possible;
• Effective communication skills;
• Strong organisation skills and the ability to prioritise;
• Manual handling experience;
• Awareness of how to protect yourself and others through strict adherence to relevant health and safety requirements; and
• Full UK driving licence, good knowledge of the local geographical area and previous driving experience. Hendy Group is a family-run business with over 80 sites along the South Coast.
