Job summary

Perfect Placement UK Ltd is seeking a Service Advisor for an independent automotive service centre in the South Wiltshire region. You will be the primary front-desk contact, coordinating with the workshop to chase work in progress and communicating progress to customers.

You will source and supply parts, upsell services where possible, and deliver high standards of customer service with strong communication and organisational skills.

Qualifications

• Recent or current experience as a Vehicle Service Advisor or in a similar automotive role is required.
• Strong communication skills and very strong organisational abilities are highly valued.
• IT literacy is important for daily desk-based tasks.

• Hours: 42.5-hour week, Monday to Friday. Either 8:00am-5:30pm or 8:30am-6:00pm.

A not-to-miss opportunity has become available for a Service Advisor to join our client's independent automotive service centre in the South Wiltshire region.

As a Service Advisor, you will be our client's primary person on their front desk, where you will be responsible for providing a proactive service to customers requesting to schedule their vehicles for service, maintenance or repair work. You will greet customers in the Service Department, extensively liaise with the workshop to chase work in progress, keep customers informed of progress, source and supply parts for the workshop team, and carry out, where possible, upselling of additional products and services.

To be eligible, you will ideally live within a reasonable commuting distance of the South Wiltshire region (for example, the business is easily commutable from Andover, Salisbury, Marlborough or Devizes) and will be able to deliver the very highest level of customer service through strong communication skills, resulting in total customer satisfaction. Very strong organisational skills, along with IT literacy, would be of high priority. Recent or current experience as a Vehicle Service Advisor or in a similar role within another automotive business is required at this stage.
