Job summary

Allscreens Nationwide Ltd in Guildford, Surrey, is seeking a Service Advisor for a premium main dealership aftersales team. The role offers a basic salary of £34,000 with bonus potential and an OTE of up to £42,000, with Monday to Friday hours and Saturday rota shifts.

The Service Advisor will welcome customers, plan work, liaise with workshop, manage invoices, and oversee handover while ensuring high service standards.

Qualifications

• Proven aftersales experience in a premium dealership environment.
• Strong customer service and communication abilities.
• Full UK driving licence is required.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers and confirm vehicle requirements, taking full responsibility for the vehicle during the visit.
• Plan and schedule work to support workshop capacity and meet customer expectations.
• Monitor workflow and liaise with workshop control to keep jobs on time.
• Raise, process and complete repair orders following guidelines.
• Keep customers updated on changes, costs and completion times.
• Oversee invoicing accuracy and authorise job extensions when needed.
• Oversee vehicle presentation, including handover and post-service care.
• Explain invoices clearly and advise on future requirements.
• Handle subcontracted repairs to maintain quality standards.
• Manage warranty and goodwill authorisations per manufacturer guidelines.

Duties of the Service Advisor:

• Welcome customers and confirm vehicle requirements, taking full responsibility for the vehicle during the visit
• Plan and schedule work to support workshop capacity and meet customer expectations
• Monitor the flow of work into the workshop, liaising with workshop control to keep jobs on time
• Raise, process, and complete repair orders in line with established guidelines and standards
• Keep customers updated on changes, including costs and expected completion times/dates
• Manage accurate and timely invoicing, ensuring job extensions are properly authorised and recorded
• Oversee vehicle presentation, including washing and vacuuming before handover
• Complete thorough vehicle handover, explaining invoices clearly and advising on future requirements
• Handle subcontracted repairs to ensure quality standards are met
• Manage warranty and goodwill authorisations in accordance with manufacturer guidelines
• Maintain excellent housekeeping and support a safe working environment across front and back of house service areas

Requirements of the Service Advisor:

• Proven experience in an aftersales environment; customer-facing service support experience required
• Demonstrable track record of maximising workshop profitability through service scheduling and service sales
• Confident communication skills, able to build rapport and manage expectations
• Immaculate personal presentation and professionalism aligned with a premium brand
• Full UK driving licence
