Job summary

Perfect Placement UK Ltd, on behalf of our client, is seeking a Service Advisor to join a well-established dealership in Liverpool. The role offers a rewarding opportunity for an experienced advisor to contribute to a busy, customer-focused environment while progressing their career in automotive services.

You will benefit from a competitive basic salary of £30,000 with an uncapped OTE up to £36,000, a 42-hour week, ongoing in-house training, clear career progression, and a Monday to Friday base

Qualifications

• Experience as a Service Advisor or similar role within the automotive industry.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Familiarity with dealer management systems such as Kerridge/ADP is advantageous.
• Strong organisational skills; able to work independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Booking MOTs, services and repairs for customers.
• Advising customers on warranty cover and upselling parts and accessories.
• Coordinating with Aftersales for appointment scheduling based on workload.
• Handling customer inquiries via phone, online and in person.
• Keeping customers informed about turnaround times and service progress.
• Maintaining accurate customer records and system updates for all bookings and communications.

We are recruiting on behalf of our client for a Service Advisor to join their well-established dealership in Liverpool. This position offers a rewarding opportunity for an experienced Service Advisor to contribute to a busy, customer-focused environment while progressing their career within the automotive sector.

- Competitive basic salary of £30,000 per annum, with an uncapped OTE of up to £36,000

- Permanent, full-time contract comprising 42 hours per week

Duties of a Service Advisor:

- Booking MOTs, services, and repairs efficiently for customers

- Advising customers on warranty cover and upselling parts and accessories

- Handling customer inquiries via phone, online, and face-to-face

- Keeping customers informed about vehicle turnaround times and service progress

- Maintaining accurate customer records and system updates for all bookings and communications

Requirements of a Service Advisor:

- Proven experience as a Service Advisor or similar role within the automotive industry

- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to establish rapport and explain technical information clearly

- Familiarity with Kerridge, ADP, or other dealer management systems is advantageous

- Strong organisational skills, capable of working independently and within a team

- A passion for cars and providing a first-class customer experience
