Responsibilities

• Act as the key link between customers and the workshop, managing vehicles through service and repair.
• Handle customer enquiries by telephone, email and in person.
• Book commercial vehicles into the workshop and agree work to be carried out.
• Prepare accurate job cards and estimates, liaising with technicians and management.
• Keep customers updated throughout the repair process and obtain authorisation for additional work.
• Ensure workshop administration is completed accurately and prepare vehicles for collection.

Location: Exeter

Salary: £32,598 rising to £33,575 after successful probation

Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday-Friday between 7:00am-6:00pm + 1 in 3 Saturdays, 8:00am-1:00pm

The Role

As a Commercial Vehicle Service Advisor, you will act as the key link between customers and the workshop, managing vehicles throughout the service and repair process and ensuring customers receive a professional and efficient service.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Managing customer enquiries by telephone, email and face-to-face
• Booking commercial vehicles into the workshop
• Understanding customer requirements and agreeing work to be carried out
• Preparing accurate job cards and estimates
• Liaising closely with Technicians and workshop management
• Keeping customers updated throughout the repair process
• Identifying additional work and obtaining customer authorisation
• Managing customer expectations and resolving queries professionally
• Ensuring all workshop administration is completed accurately
• Preparing vehicles for collection and explaining completed work
