Job summary

Jago Consultants in Chichester is seeking a Service Advisor to join a dealership team. The role focuses on delivering excellent customer service, handling bookings, and coordinating with the workshop to ensure smooth operations. Training will be provided to develop dealership skills and product knowledge.

You will manage bookings, upsell services, and handle invoicing and payments, while maintaining high customer satisfaction standards in a busy service department.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in Customer Service is essential.
• Enthusiastic and passionate about the motor trade.
• A valid full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Take service, repair and maintenance bookings via telephone, face to face and email contact.
• Process bookings through Kerridge IT system.
• Liaise with workshop team to ensure all is in place for each booked job.
• Keep customers informed throughout work in progress – upsell any additional work requirements.
• Present and upsell a range of approved products and services.
• Undertake all related administration (including invoicing), handing over cars, and taking payments.
• Ability to meet manufacturers customer satisfaction standards.

Hours – Full time (Monday to Friday, Saturday 1 in 3)

I am working with an established dealership in Chichester, West Sussex who are seeking a Service Advisor to join their friendly team. Working as a Service Advisor this role offers you the opportunity to use your customer service and administration skills to keep our service department running smoothly, reporting to the Service Manager.

The successful Service Advisor will receive full manufacturer training with the added benefit of working for a Company that believes in progressing and developing their team, so full dealership training will be provided.

The Service Advisor role requires an outgoing, enthusiastic motivated individual who has excellent people skills to ensure the highest level of customer experience is always provided.

Key responsibilities for the Service Advisor role are:

• Taking service, repair and maintenance bookings via telephone, face to face and email contact
• Processing bookings through the internal (Kerridge) IT system
• Liaising with the workshop team to ensure all is in place for each booked job
• Keeping customers informed throughout work in progress – upselling any additional work requirements
• Presenting and upselling a range of approved products and services
• Undertaking all related administration (including invoicing), handing over cars, and taking payments
• Ability to meet manufacturers customer satisfaction standards.

For this Service Advisor position, you will have:
