  • Location: Carlisle Nissan / Renault
  • Department: Service
  • Salary: Up to £36,000 OTE per annum, including basic up to £30,000
  • Hours: 42 hours per week, Monday to Friday 08:30 to 17:30, and 1 in 4 Saturdays 08:00 to 12:00
About The Role

Lookers Carlisle Nissan / Renault is recruiting a Service Advisor to join our Service Team. The role involves providing a personalized, premium experience to customers for servicing, MOT, and repairs, demonstrating knowledge and expertise to assist customers in making informed decisions about their vehicle servicing.

Responsibilities include processing warranty claims, booking services and MOTs, maintaining accurate customer records, and liaising with customers face-to-face, over the phone, and via email. We seek someone with a customer service or admin background who is passionate about delivering excellent service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Advising customers about warranty cover and upselling parts/accessories
  • Organizing and scheduling appointments with the Aftersales department
  • Maintaining accurate customer records and updating systems
  • Preparing warranty claim forms and supporting materials
  • Maximizing manufacturer warranty returns and managing related paperwork
  • Reviewing warranty reports to identify improvements
  • Keeping detailed records of warranty submissions and credits
  • Performing ad-hoc admin tasks as assigned
Skills & Competencies
  • Exceptional communication skills with a customer-first approach
  • Strong teamwork, organization, and time management skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, target-driven environment
  • Experience as a service administrator from a leading automotive dealer is desirable; technical knowledge is an advantage
  • Energetic, personable, with a passion for delivering first-class customer service
  • Experience with Kerridge / ADP and other dealer systems is beneficial
