UPS Electrical Service Engineer – M25 Corridor
Kingston Barnes has an exciting opportunity for a UPS Field Service Engineer to join our client.
With the company's success continuing to grow steadily, they are looking to expand their workforce both on-site and in the field to maintain sales. They are a market leader in the sale, service, and maintenance of UPS systems. The business has shown consistent growth and is constantly developing new systems to maintain their competitive advantage in existing markets.
This is a home-based, field engineer position. Responsibilities include commissioning, maintaining, repairing, and occasionally modifying a range of power protection products. The role suits an appropriately qualified individual with field service experience, especially if they have worked for other main UPS manufacturers, though this is not essential.
The product range includes, but is not limited to, battery-backed rotary UPS systems, diesel UPS systems with battery and kinetic energy storage, static UPS systems, and static and rotary frequency converters including 400Hz aircraft ground power equipment.
Field engineers are mobile, responsible for arriving on-site punctually with all necessary tools, spares, and equipment. They are allocated tasks from head office with detailed job information and are expected to be well-prepared for each visit. Flexibility is essential to adapt to changing customer demands, and occasional work away or overtime may be required, including weekends and on-call duties.
