Lookers Skoda Kia Newcastle is recruiting an experienced and dedicated Service Advisor to join our Aftersales Team, which includes Service Advisors, Vehicle Technicians, and our enthusiastic Service Manager.

As a Service Advisor at Skoda Kia, you will benefit from continuous training opportunities through our in-house brand developments. This is a truly exciting opportunity with potential for progression within Lookers!

Responsibilities
  • Booking MOTs, services, and other repair work for customers
  • Advising customers about warranty cover and upselling parts/accessories that benefit the customer
  • Liaising with the Aftersales department to organize and schedule appointments based on workload and call volumes
  • Managing a high volume of customers daily, including telephone calls and online booking queries
  • Informing customers of turnaround times and maintaining effective communication during the service process
  • Maintaining accurate customer records and updating systems accordingly
Qualifications

Whether you're an experienced Service Advisor or new to the role, we would love to hear from you!

Ideal candidates will have heaps of energy, a warm personality, and a passion for delivering first-class customer service. Excellent communication skills, the ability to build rapport, and explaining technical information clearly are essential. Experience with Kerridge / ADP systems or similar dealer systems is advantageous.

You should be a team player who can also work independently using your own initiative. Experience in a similar automotive role with a passion for cars and customer service is preferred.
