Job summary

Perfect Placement UK Ltd. is seeking a skilled Service Advisor for a family-run garage in Ashford, Kent.

The role involves greeting customers, managing drop-offs and pickups, and updating clients on service progress with a focus on upselling where appropriate. The successful candidate will have proven service-advisor experience, excellent communication, and good IT skills, with the ability to explain technical work clearly.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate invoices and explain the work carried out clearly.

• Promote service plans, warranties, and other add-on sales.

We are recruiting on behalf of our client for a Service Advisor position at an independent garage in Ashford, Kent. This is an outstanding opportunity for a skilled and experienced Service Advisor to join a reputable, family-run business known for delivering quality automotive services and fostering long-term customer relationships.

• - Basic salary up to £34,000, dependent on experience

Duties of the Service Advisor:

• - Greet customers and manage vehicle drop-offs and collections efficiently

• - IT literate, with experience in automotive management systems advantageous
• - Full UK driving licence, preferably clean
• - Knowledge or experience in car sales or parts advisory roles is desirable
