Perfect Placement UK Ltd. is seeking a skilled Service Advisor for a family-run garage in Ashford, Kent.

The role involves greeting customers, managing drop-offs and pickups, and updating clients on service progress with a focus on upselling where appropriate. The successful candidate will have proven service-advisor experience, excellent communication, and good IT skills, with the ability to explain technical work clearly.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a Service Advisor or similar role.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Organised and able to manage multiple customer bookings.
• Confident in upselling and explaining technical work.
• IT literate, with experience in automotive management systems advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and manage vehicle drop-offs and collections efficiently.
• Listen to customer concerns and accurately document service requests.
• Keep customers updated on vehicle progress throughout their service.
• Identify additional services and upsell suitable products or warranties.
• Prepare accurate invoices and explain the work carried out clearly.
• Support the workshop team with relevant information and scheduling.
• Promote service plans, warranties, and other add-on sales.
• Uphold high standards of customer service and satisfaction.
