Perfect Placement is recruiting on behalf of our client for a Service Advisor role in Arnold, Nottingham. You will warmly welcome customers, book workshop slots and keep clients informed about repair progress.

The role suits a customer-focused individual with automotive knowledge, offering a Monday–Friday pattern, one in two Saturdays, and a competitive base salary with bonus potential and training.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Service Advisor or in a similar customer-facing automotive role.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Confident in dealing with customers face-to-face and over the phone.
• Well-organised, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, busy workshop environment.
• Positive, professional attitude with good attention to detail.
• Solid understanding of vehicle servicing and repair processes.
• Excellent administration skills to maintain accurate records.

Responsibilities

• Welcoming customers and understanding their vehicle service and repair needs
• Booking vehicles into the workshop and managing customer appointments
• Providing regular updates to customers regarding repair progress
• Liaising with technicians and workshop staff to ensure smooth workflow
• Preparing estimates and obtaining customer authorisation for additional work
• Explaining repairs and servicing options clearly and professionally
• Handling customer queries in a professional manner and resolving any issues promptly
• Ensuring all relevant documentation and customer records are accurately completed
• Identifying and suggesting additional services or repairs where appropriate
• Delivering a consistently high level of customer service throughout the customer journey
