Job summary

GAUCHO Cardiff is seeking an experienced Senior Waiter who will be a GAUCHO ambassador, deliver exceptional hospitality and upsell GAUCHO products with confidence. You will be part of a fast-paced Cardiff team, helping guests enjoy a memorable dining experience while maintaining high service standards.

Key duties include leading by example, enhancing product knowledge, supporting management to maximise sales, and ensuring accurate order processing and a well-presented, clean dining area.

Responsibilities

• Work with the restaurant team to offer an unforgettable GAUCHO experience through heightened hospitality.
• Be the face of GAUCHO and demonstrate service excellence while following GAUCHO standards.
• Strengthen product knowledge to host tables and guide guests with menu choices.
• Support management to maximise sales by driving covers and average spend per head.
• Ensure all guest orders are received and processed professionally and accurately.
• Maintain a clean and organised restaurant and follow setup/breakdown procedures.

Key Responsibilities of a GAUCHO Senior Waiter

• Work with the restaurant team to offer an unforgettable GAUCHO experience to all our guests through heightened hospitality.
• Be the face of GAUCHO and demonstrate service excellence while following the GAUCHO steps of service and standards.
• Strengthen and maintain product knowledge in order to host tables and guide guests with menu choices.
• Support and assist the management team to maximise sales revenues by driving covers and average spend per head.
• Ensure all guest orders are received and processed professionally and accurately.
• Help maintain a clean and organised restaurant at all times and follow all set-up and breakdown procedures.
