Job summary

Sword Group is seeking a Senior Workplace Engineer to own complex workplace services across managed environments. The role involves hands-on engineering across End User Compute, Microsoft 365, endpoint management, identity integration and hybrid meeting-room technology.

You will resolve difficult issues, raise standards and coach other engineers to strengthen technical judgement. You’ll drive provisioning, Intune enrolment, Entra ID, Exchange Online and Teams configuration, while improving

Qualifications

Five+ years of experience in workplace engineering, endpoint support or enterprise IT operations.
Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 administration and managed workplace services.
Experience with hybrid meeting-room services and device provisioning.

Responsibilities

Lead corporate device provisioning and lifecycle activities, including Windows Autopilot deployment and Intune enrolment.
Administer and improve Microsoft 365 services and endpoint management platforms.
Configure endpoint compliance policies, deployment, update rings and security baselines.
Diagnose and resolve secure email issues (mailbox config, transport rules, anti-phishing, spam).
Lead hybrid meeting-room services (Teams Rooms, Zoom Rooms) and room accounts.
