Job summary

Sword is seeking a Senior Workplace Engineer to own complex workplace services across managed environments. You will lead device provisioning, Microsoft 365 administration and endpoint management, ensuring secure, compliant configurations and high service quality.

You will mentor engineers, coordinate incidents, and drive improvements in runbooks and standards while maintaining strong customer communication. A background in enterprise IT operations and ITIL or security training is preferred.

Qualifications

• Five+ years in workplace engineering, endpoint support or enterprise IT operations.
• Strong technical knowledge of M365, identity and device management.
• Certification in ITIL or equivalent security training is valuable.
• Experience in a customer-facing managed service environment is important.

Responsibilities

• Take technical ownership of complex workplace incidents, requests and escalations.
• Lead provisioning and lifecycle activities for corporate devices and enrollment.
• Administer and improve M365, Entra ID, Exchange Online and Teams configurations.
• Configure endpoint compliance, policy deployment and security baselines.
• Lead hybrid meeting-room services including Teams/Zoom Rooms and AV equipment.
• Investigate root causes, document runbooks and drive improvements.
• Coach and mentor Workplace Engineers and communicate clearly to customers.
