Job summary

IG Group in City of London seeks a Senior Engineer for Workplace Technology to shape end-user platforms, including Windows/Mac devices, M365, Intune and identity services. You will design, automate and operate Azure-based estates moving from on-prem to cloud, while maintaining on‑prem reliability for the medium to long term.

Qualifications

• Senior Microsoft infrastructure, platform or cloud engineering experience.
• Expert knowledge of Microsoft 365 services including Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint Online/OneDrive and Intune.
• Strong experience with Entra ID, Active Directory and hybrid identity architectures.

Responsibilities

• Provide senior engineering, design, implementation and operational support across IG's Microsoft platform estate.
• Design, implement and support Azure infrastructure services and Azure Virtual Desktop.
• Lead technical investigations, incident management and root cause analyses for critical service incidents.
• Develop automation and self-service capabilities using PowerShell and related technologies.
• Mentor engineers and promote engineering best practices across Workplace Technology.
