Job summary

Arcadis is seeking a Senior Civil Engineer to join its Water team across the UK, delivering complex water infrastructure projects. You will lead civil design, coordinate with disciplines and supply chain, and liaise with clients to ensure robust, sustainable outcomes.

You will mentor junior staff, develop design calculations and reports, and contribute to commercial and programme aspects while upholding safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Chartered or Incorporated Engineer status or membership in a professional institution (ICE/CIWEM/IW0).
• Strong technical design experience on water projects.
• Knowledge of UK standards and water specifications.

Responsibilities

• Take a lead role on civil design or packages of work.
• Coordinate designs with team members and supply chain.
• Liaise with client, supply chain and stakeholders.
• Prepare high-quality design drawings and construction-ready documentation.
• Prepare design calculations and reports.
• Align with safety, quality and sustainability goals.
