Job summary

Arcadis is seeking a Senior Civil Engineer to join the Water team in the UK. You will lead civil design packages and work with experienced specialists to deliver high-profile water infrastructure projects across the UK.

Role requires Chartered or Incorporated Engineer status, strong water project design experience, and BIM-enabled design proficiency. You will mentor junior staff and liaise with clients and the supply chain to ensure safe, sustainable outcomes.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Chartered or Incorporated Engineer status with a recognised institution.
• Strong technical design experience on water projects.
• Knowledge of UK standards and water industry practices.
• Experience with BIM-led design and digital tools.

Responsibilities

• Take a lead role on civil design and packages of work.
• Coordinate designs with other disciplines and the supply chain.
• Liaise with clients, supply chain and stakeholders.
• Prepare design drawings, calculations, and reports to Construction-Ready standard.
• Ensure adherence to business management processes, safety, quality and sustainability.
