Mott MacDonald is seeking an experienced Senior Project Programme and Commercial Manager to lead multidisciplinary water sector projects in the UK. The role supports AMP8 delivery, coordinating design and delivery teams and maintaining strong client relationships.

The position offers hybrid working within the UK, with responsibilities spanning programme, cost management, and risk mitigation, while guiding junior staff and promoting professional development.

Qualifications

• Degree-qualified in engineering or related discipline.
• Experience delivering infrastructure projects in the water sector.
• Strong client-facing and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to manage programme, cost, and risk across lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Lead delivery of projects to time, cost, and quality.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams across design and delivery stages.
• Interface with clients to build trusted relationships.
• Identify, manage, and mitigate project risks and opportunities.
• Oversee commercial aspects including forecasting and reporting.
• Mentor junior staff and support team development.
