Job summary

Mott MacDonald Bentley in the Thames Valley region seeks an experienced Senior Project Manager to deliver water and wastewater non-infrastructure projects. You will provide end-to-end leadership, overseeing safety, programme, cost, quality, and stakeholder satisfaction.

You will work across client and multi-disciplinary teams, setting delivery standards, managing complex supply chains, and supporting the wider framework as required.

Qualifications

• Civil Eng degree or equivalent
• Significant experience as Senior Project Manager on complex infrastructure
• Proven track record delivering major civil/water sector programmes over £25m per year
• Strong understanding of regulated infrastructure, ideally UK water AMP frameworks
• Experience leading large multi-disciplinary teams and Tier 1 supply chains
• Strong commercial acumen with NEC contracts, change control and cost management
• Excellent communication skills with credibility at senior client/internal levels
• Formal project management qualification (APM/PRINCE2) desirable

Responsibilities

• Provide full lifecycle leadership from concept to handover.
• Lead delivery of a complex multi-workstream project within a regulated environment.
• Establish robust governance, ensuring framework/client/regulatory compliance.
• Act as senior escalation point for all project performance matters.
• Own the commercial strategy and procurement/change control.
• Manage client and stakeholder relationships across regulators and internal teams.
• Lead and develop a high-performing, multi-disciplinary project team.
• Drive reporting, improvement, and lessons learned across the framework.
