Job summary

Mott MacDonald in the UK is seeking technical project managers for the Water Consultancy Division. You will lead multi-disciplinary water projects through feasibility to commissioning, coordinating design and delivery with clients and contractors across UK offices.

The role requires chartered engineering status, strong leadership, and a focus on quality, cost, and schedule. Hybrid working arrangements are available, with a focus on delivering high-impact water infrastructure projects.

Qualifications

• Degree-qualified in engineering or a related discipline.
• Chartered Engineer and membership of ICE/IMechE or equivalent.
• Proven project management experience delivering infrastructure projects, ideally in water.

Responsibilities

• Manage multi-disciplinary water projects across the full project lifecycle.
• Lead delivery of projects to time, cost, and quality, with compliant governance.
• Coordinate design and delivery teams across stages.
• Act as key client interface and maintain strong relationships.
• Identify and mitigate risks and opportunities.
• Oversee forecasting, programme control, and reporting.
