BAM Ground Engineering is seeking a Senior Utility Surveyor to lead utility survey projects and drive PAS 128 compliant outputs. You will deliver surveys, mentor junior staff, and help develop the growing utility surveying service. The role requires strong client communication and a safety-focused mindset.

Office locations include Kilsyth, Godstone, Nailsea or Warrington with travel to projects nationwide. A background in surveying and PAS 128 is essential.

Qualifications

• Seniority with several years delivering utility surveys.
• Strong PAS 128 knowledge and TSA familiarity.
• Proficient with surveying tech: GPR, EM location, total stations, GPS.
• Excellent communication and client management skills.
• Valid driving licence; degree in surveying desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead utility survey projects from start to finish with high standards.
• Provide technical support to ensure timely, budget-friendly delivery.
• Utilise modern surveying methods and equipment (GPR, GPS, total stations).
• Produce detailed PAS 128 compliant outputs and reports.
• Mentor junior surveyors and support business development.
• Maintain equipment and ensure health and safety compliance.
