Job summary

BAM Ground Engineering is seeking a Senior Utility Surveyor to lead PAS 128 utility surveys and detection services, delivering high-quality outputs while mentoring junior staff. The role involves client liaison, project quoting and developing a growing utility surveying capability.

You will work from offices across Kilsyth, Godstone, Nailsea or Warrington with travel to sites and clients as required, combining hands-on field work with development of processes and standards for future growth.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering PAS 128 utility surveys and manhole inspections.
• Strong understanding of industry standards and best practices in utility surveying.
• Proficient in using surveying tech such as GPS, total stations and GPR.

Responsibilities

• Lead utility survey projects from start to finish and ensure quality outcomes.
• Provide technical support to deliver projects on time, budget and to standard.
• Produce PAS 128 compliant outputs and client-ready reports.
• Mentor and develop junior surveyors within the team.
• Maintain survey equipment and ensure health and safety compliance.
