Job summary

BAM UK & Ireland is seeking a Senior Utility Surveyor to lead PAS 128 utility surveys and detection services, growing our utility surveying capability across offices in Kilsyth, Godstone, Nailsea or Warrington with project travel.

You will deliver PAS 128 compliant survey outputs, operate detection tools, post‑process data, and support the development of processes for future growth. Strong communication with clients and colleagues is essential.

Qualifications

• Significant experience delivering PAS 128 utility surveys.
• Proven leadership of survey projects and client liaison.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work with multi-disciplinary teams.
• Clean, valid driving license and relevant surveying qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Lead utility survey projects from start to finish with high-quality outputs.
• Provide technical support to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.
• Utilise modern surveying methods and equipment including GPR, GPS and total stations.
• Record and report underground assets and prepare PAS 128 outputs.
• Mentor junior surveyors and support business development activities.
