Job summary

WSP in the UK & Ireland is seeking a Senior/Principal Utilities Infrastructure Engineer to lead and deliver multi-disciplinary infrastructure schemes across the UK from the Leeds office. You will engage with clients, manage utilities connections and diversions, and guide teams toward innovative, cost-effective solutions.

The role supports progression toward EngTech/IEng/CEng with ICE, with internal and external training opportunities and a collaborative, inclusive culture.

Qualifications

• Chartered Engineer or working towards Chartered Engineer status.
• Civil Engineering Degree or equivalent qualification.
• Experience delivering utility connections, diversions and utility infrastructure strategies for UK schemes.
• Understanding of Electricity, Gas, Water and Telecommunications networks owners.
• Experience with multi-utility offerings (iDNO/ICP) is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Work from WSP Leeds office within multidisciplinary teams to maintain and develop client relationships.
• Deliver schemes on budget and to high quality standards.
• Provide an experienced senior point of contact for clients on key projects.
• Mentor team members and promote professional development.
• Develop and maintain strong client relationships and technical networks.
