Job summary

WSP is recruiting a Senior or Principal Utilities Infrastructure Engineer to join our Development team in Leeds. You will advise on technical utilities matters, oversee feasibility, diversions, and new services, and work within multidisciplinary teams to deliver complex schemes.

The role requires delivering projects on budget, mentoring team members, and maintaining strong client relationships while advancing towards EngTech/IEng/CEng status with ICE.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills and the ability to engage with co-professionals and clients.
• Experience delivering utility connections, diversions and infrastructure strategies in the UK.
• Chartered Engineer status or working towards chartered status preferred.

Responsibilities

• Work from the Leeds office in a modern environment.
• Maintain and develop client relationships across multidisciplinary teams.
• Deliver schemes on budget and ensure high-quality outputs for clients.
• Mentor and guide junior staff and promote professional development.
• Ensure clean and comprehensive reporting and technical coordination.
