Job summary

WSP is seeking a Senior Utilities Infrastructure Engineer to lead multi-utility coordination across UK and international projects. You will manage concept through detailed design, overseeing masterplanning, coordination and design of multi-utility infrastructure while directing BIM teams to produce high-quality models and outputs.

You will mentor the growing team and engage with clients to deliver complex schemes on time, within budget and to the highest standards.

Qualifications

• Chartered Engineer status or working towards; ICE/CEng route encouraged.
• Civil Engineering degree or equivalent qualification.
• Experience delivering utility connections, diversions and infrastructure strategies in the UK.
• Broad knowledge of Electricity, Gas, Water, and Telecom networks for new development.
• Experience with Multi-Utility / iDNO / ICP and commercial risk/opportunities.
• Ability to lead teams and manage multiple projects concurrently.
• Strong client relationship development and senior stakeholder engagement.
• UK security clearance (SC) eligibility or ability to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Lead engagement with clients on technical utilities matters.
• Develop designs for multi-utility coordination in the UK and internationally.
• Oversee masterplanning, coordination and design of multi-utility infrastructure.
• Direct BIM teams (AutoCAD, Civils 3D, Revit) for project models and outputs.
• Mentor growing team and deliver high-quality reports for clients.
• Drive project delivery within time, budget and programme constraints.
