Job summary

WSP in the UK & Ireland recruits a Senior Utilities Infrastructure Engineer to lead the multi-utility coordination and development for major national and international projects. The role centres on managing utility constraints, delivering innovative designs, and leading multi-disciplinary teams.

You will work on wide-ranging projects from concept through detailed design, including masterplanning and project delivery, while developing client relationships and driving growth in a global

Qualifications

• Chartered Engineer or working towards Chartered status
• Civil Engineering degree or equivalent
• Experience delivering utility connections, diversions and infrastructure strategies in the UK
• Understanding of Electricity, Gas, Water and Telecommunications networks
• Experience with Multi-Utility / iDNO / ICP and related commercial risk
• Ability to develop utility demand calculations for developments
• Proven ability to lead teams and manage multiple projects
• Excellent communication to produce high quality reports
• Experience directing BIM teams in AutoCAD/Civils 3D/Revit projects
• Proven ability to develop and maintain client relationships
• UK Security Check (SC) eligibility

Responsibilities

• Flexible working out of UK offices (base office flexible)
• Lead a variety of Utility projects from local schemes to nationally significant projects
• Lead and work within multidisciplinary teams in the UK and internationally
• Provide senior client engagement on key projects
• Drive business growth with existing clients and develop new relationships
• Collaborate with clients to deliver complex schemes to high standards, on time and within budget
• Mentor and develop growing team
• Ensure high quality service and uphold professional reputation
• Deliver strong project/programme management and problem solving
