Job summary

WSP in the UK & Ireland is seeking a Senior Utilities Engineer in Leeds to lead projects and engage with clients on technical matters. The role involves managing utilities risk and delivering innovative solutions across a variety of sectors.

Ideal candidates will possess a Civil Engineering degree, chartered status (or working towards), and several years of experience in utility projects. The position offers flexible working and a supportive environment for personal and professional development.

Qualifications

• Chartered Engineer or open/working towards Chartered Engineer status.
• Civil Engineering Degree or similar equivalent qualification.
• Experience delivering utility connections, diversions and utility infrastructure strategies for small, medium and large schemes in the UK.
• Rounded understanding of Electricity, Gas, Water, and Telecommunications networks.
• Proven ability to lead teams and manage multiple projects.
• Excellent communication skills to engage effectively with co-professionals.

Responsibilities

• Leading a wide variety of Utility projects in the UK.
• Providing an experienced point of contact for clients on key projects.
• Driving business growth and developing client relationships.
• Mentoring and developing team members.
• Delivering high quality service to clients.

Skills

Chartered Engineer or working towards status
