The Travelers Europe is seeking a Development Underwriter with experience in underwriting and broker management to join our team. The role combines underwriting and sales, with responsibility for a defined book of business and broker development.

Qualifications

• University degree and/or Chartered Insurance Institute (CII) Advanced Certification or Diploma.

Responsabilités

• Underwrite and assess risk for products and accounts from assigned brokers within own authority; provide recommendations to leadership.
• Underwrite more complex accounts in line with TICL principles and consider pricing, retention, endorsements, limits and indemnity.
• Develop broker relationships and manage risk to maximize profitability.
• Ensure accurate underwriting documentation and maintain accounts in the management system.
• Collaborate with Head Office, Risk Control, Claims and other units to support business objectives.
• Lead or participate in regional underwriting and sales meetings and drive broker opportunities.
