The Travelers in the United Kingdom seeks an experienced underwriter to manage a diverse and moderately complex book, negotiating with brokers and delivering profitable results. You will assess risk, shape product solutions and partner with teams to drive growth and retention.

You will work with a range of internal stakeholders and brokers, travel to meetings as needed, and contribute to a sustainable risk-adjusted profitability strategy across the portfolio.

Qualifikationen

• Underwriting experience with moderate to complex risks.
• Strong knowledge of products, regulatory environment and UK insurance market.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills with brokers.

• Manage profitability, growth and retention for a diverse book of business.
• Underwrite and negotiate moderate to complex risks to maximise profitability.
• Pro actively manage portfolio to meet KPIs and target new business.
• Identify risk factors and take corrective actions within risk appetite.
• Write additional lines of business using product knowledge and risk insight.
• Utilise technology platforms to quote and bind risk efficiently.
• Lead and present Underwriting Reviews for policies or portfolios.
• Build strong internal and broker relationships to drive sales and retention.
• Develop retention plans and support new business teams to win etc.
