Job summary

WSP in the UK & Ireland is seeking a Senior to Principal Transport Planner to join the Passenger Transit Group within the Planning & Mobility team. The role supports projects UK-wide and offers hybrid working with office and home days across multiple offices including Liverpool.

You will lead transit schemes from inception through delivery, working with multi-disciplinary teams and client relationships to drive successful outcomes for local authorities and developers.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in passenger transit and mobility planning and design.
• Strong understanding of regulatory environments for transit services.
• Excellent report writing and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead or contribute to transit projects from inception to delivery.
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to deliver large, multi-disciplinary projects.
• Develop relationships with clients and secure work for the team.
• Mentor junior team members and support career development.
