Job summary

WSP Global Inc. is seeking a Senior or Principal Transport Planner to join the Passenger Transit Group within the Planning & Mobility team.

The role supports projects across the UK with a hybrid working pattern, based in any WSP UK office including Birmingham, Bristol, Leeds, Liverpool, London or Manchester. You will lead the development of transit schemes from inception to completion, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and managing client relationships to deliver high quality outcomes.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in passenger transit and mobility planning and design.
• Understanding of regulatory and legislative environment for passenger transit services.
• Excellent report writing and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead or contribute to a variety of projects and proposals, delivering high quality outputs.
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams and other service lines.
• Build relationships and secure/deliver work for local client portfolio.
• Mentor and develop junior team members and support People Manager activities.
• Oversee financial performance of projects and the team.
