Job summary

WSP is recruiting a Senior or Principal Transport Planner to join the Passenger Transit Group across the UK. The role can be based in any WSP UK office with hybrid working combining office and home working.

You will lead transit projects across passenger modes, manage multidisciplinary teams, and build strong client relationships while contributing to the group's growth and delivery excellence. This role offers opportunities to advance and influence transport policy.

Qualifications

• Senior/Principal Transport Planner with strong experience in passenger transit and mobility planning.
• Excellent report writing and communication skills, with client-facing delivery.
• Experience leading workstreams or projects and managing multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead development of transit schemes from inception to completion.
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams and other service lines to deliver large projects.
• Develop client relationships and secure new work for local clients.
• Mentor junior staff and contribute to project financial performance.
