Job summary

AECOM’s Town Planning team is seeking a Senior Town Planner to deliver major infrastructure and development projects across the UK. You’ll join a market-leading group, work on energy, rail and water sectors, and contribute to planning applications, strategies, and stakeholder engagement in a hybrid work model with base locations including Basingstoke, London, and others.

We’re looking for a degree in Town Planning (RTPI desirable), proven experience on planning applications, and commercial

Qualifications

• Degree in Town Planning or related discipline (desirable).
• RTPI membership or equivalent body (desirable).
• Experience working on planning applications.

Responsibilities

• Assist in successful delivery of major development applications.
• Provide planning advice and strategies to clients and colleagues.
• Prepare Planning Statements and manage planning applications with local authorities.
• Collaborate with Environmental Impact Assessment teams and stakeholders.
• Support business development and tender preparation.
