Job summary

Dacorum Borough Council is recruiting for a Tenancy Resolution Lead Officer to help establish and lead the new Tenancy Resolution Service. You will guide staff, supervise complex housing cases and work with partners to sustain tenancies and reduce risk.

This fixed-term or secondment role requires experience in complex tenancy work and a commitment to high-quality, person-centred services for vulnerable residents.

Qualifications

• Substantial experience managing complex housing, tenancy sustainment or vulnerability-related casework.
• Understanding of safeguarding, risk management and partnership working.
• Ability to provide leadership, coaching and professional oversight to others.
• Comfort making decisions in complex and sensitive situations.
• Commitment to achieving positive outcomes for residents.
• Ability to build effective relationships with partner agencies and internal services.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day leadership and professional oversight to the Tenancy Resolution Officers.
• Support staff with case management, safeguarding, and tenancy sustainment interventions.
• Ensure services are delivered safely, proportionately and consistently.
• Contribute to staff development and quality assurance within the service.
