Job summary

Emplyfy is seeking an experienced Technical Support Engineer to provide dependable technical support and hands-on work at customer locations in Chesham, UK. You will own customer technical queries and travel to sites to investigate faults and implement fixes, while managing tickets and keeping customers informed according to SLAs.

The role requires a strong background across Microsoft 365 (Email, SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive), Intune, RMM technologies, and network installation/maintenance.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years' IT experience.
• Mandatory Cyber Essentials and GDPR security experience.
• Microsoft 365 experience including Email, SharePoint, Teams and OneDrive.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of customer technical queries and provide appropriate support.
• Travel to customer sites to investigate faults, implement fixes and complete maintenance activities.
• Manage incoming support tickets and requests through the Service Desk platform.
• Keep customers informed about progress and resolution times in accordance with SLAs.
• Escalate serious incidents when required.
• Plan and manage daily priorities to ensure work is completed efficiently.
• Monitor customer systems and environments to ensure continuity of business needs.
• Install, configure, test, maintain and repair IT equipment and software.
• Maintain records of technical activity and task status.
• Handle on-site and remote urgent incidents.
