Job Description
  • Lead and modernise recruitment processes, ensuring compliance and exceptional candidate experience.
  • Partner with managers to deliver workforce planning and resourcing strategies.
  • Oversee the full recruitment lifecycle from sourcing through to onboarding and pre‑employment checks.
  • Develop innovative sourcing methods using digital platforms, social media, and local networks.
  • Collaborate with communications teams to design employer branding campaigns and authentic recruitment content.
  • Analyse recruitment metrics and provide insights to improve time‑to‑hire and retention.
  • Build external partnerships with schools, colleges, and industry networks to strengthen talent pipelines.
  • Implement retention initiatives such as stay interviews, recognition schemes, and proactive engagement plans.
  • Champion diversity, inclusion, and equality across all talent and retention practices.
  • Lead, coach, and mentor a small team to deliver direct hiring and strategic resourcing goals.
  • Ensure governance, compliance, and safeguarding principles are embedded in all recruitment and retention activities.
