Job summary

Cygnet Group is seeking a Senior Support Worker for Elston House in Elston, England. You will deliver high-quality care across 42 hours weekly (12-hour shifts, days).

Join a specialist residential service for adults with autism and learning disabilities, with a strong focus on independence and community integration. DBS check required and opportunities for learning and progression.

Qualifications

• Experience as a senior care or support worker.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lead, supervise and develop others.

Responsibilities

• Deliver enhanced care with a flexible approach.
• Provide guidance, encouragement, and emotional support to individuals.
• Understand each person’s needs and provide appropriate help.
• Assist with medical and welfare needs and report as required.
• Support management in day-to-day running of the service.
• Undertake supervisory and administrative duties.

We are looking for a confidentSenior Support Worker with a passion for delivering outstanding care.

You'll be working full time42hours a week (12hour shifts - days only),making a positive difference to the lives of the people in our care at Elston House.

Shift pattern

• Week 1 - Monday, Thursday, Friday
• Week 2 - Tuesday, Wednesday, Saturday, Sunday

Elston House is a specialist residential service for adults with autism and learning disabilities, who may also present with behaviours that challenge. We aim to provide a safe, comfortable and effective care environment for those in our care, promoting independence and community integration.

Your Day-to-Day

• Offer enhanced care with a flexible learning approach to all individuals in our care
• Provide guidance & encouragement through physical & emotional support
• Learn about individuals' specific needs & provide help in the most appropriate way
• Assist with medical & welfare needs & report as required
• Support management in the day-to-day running of the service
• Undertake supervisory & administrative responsibilities
• Safeguard
• Maintain a safe and clean environment for all.
