Voyage Care in Gloucester seeks a Senior Support Worker to lead our Headway-accredited ABI service, housed in 10 en-suite rooms. The role uses a rehabilitative approach to empower residents to participate in activities and achieve personal goals.

You will support the Manager with daily supervision, allocate shifts, induct new colleagues, and assist with medication ordering to ensure safe care. On-call duties (including nights) and Level 3 in Health & Social Care are preferred to help residents

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Senior Support Worker.
• Level 3 in Health & Social Care.
• Available for on-call duties including nights.

Typical Shifts are: 07:45-15:15, 15:15-22:15, 22:00-08:00 working 37.5 hours per week

Senior Support Workers with a passion for enhancing the quality of life of the people we support are at the heart of our management teams. We're currently searching for a fantastic Senior Support Worker to join us in leading our Headway accredited ABI (Acquired Brain Injury) service in Gloucester. Comprising of 10 spacious en-suite rooms, this service has a welcoming and friendly environment with a dynamic team that supports a fantastic group of people. Using a rehabilitative approach, they're empowered to make choices and actively participate in a wide range of activities to help them reach their goals.

As a Senior Support Worker with us you'll be helping people to gain more independence in their daily lives, whilst assisting the Manager with the day-to-day supervision and management of the service. You could be allocating shifts, booking in training, inducting new colleagues, supporting with supervision's, ordering medication and ensuring the people we support are supported to manage their finances. You'll never lose sight of why you choose to do this, as our Seniors are still at the heart of providing day-to-day support.

We're interested in our Senior Support Workers having both the right experience and the right values. This is why at this service our Seniors should ideally have previous experience as a Senior Support Worker and a Level 3 in Health & Social Care. Seniors must be available to complete on-call duties and cover any shifts unable to be covered, including nights.
