Job summary

Voyage Care is seeking a Senior Support Worker at our residential service near Stroud. You will lead a dynamic team and help people gain independence, supporting day-to-day operations and supervision of staff.

The role requires previous Senior Support Worker experience and a Level 3 in Health & Social Care, with experience in supporting individuals with distress, autism, forensic histories, or trauma.

• Senior Support Worker with a passion for enhancing the quality of life of the people we support.
• Experience as a Senior Support Worker and a Level 3 in Health & Social Care.
• Experience working with individuals requiring enhanced support, including behaviours of distress, autism, forensic histories and people who have experienced trauma.

Responsibilities

• Help people gain more independence in their daily lives.
• Assist the Manager with day-to-day supervision and management of the service, including allocating shifts and booking training.
• Induct new colleagues, support supervision, order medication and ensure finances of the people we support are managed.

Female Senior Support Worker – Location: Longridge Court, Bulls Cross, Near Stroud GL6 7HU

Due to the location of this service you will require your own vehicle to get here, we also require you to have held a UK driving licence for 1 year and be over 21yrs old for insurance purposes

Payrate - £14.27 to £15.77 per hour with overtime and evening/weekend enhancements (Ts & Cs apply) Typical Shifts are: 7am - 19:30 or 8am - 20:30

We’re currently searching for a fantastic Senior Support Worker to join us in leading our residential service . This service is a welcoming and friendly environment with a dynamic team that supports a fantastic group of people!

As a Senior Support Worker with us you'll be helping people to gain more independence in their daily lives, whilst assisting the Manager with the day-to-day supervision and management of the service. You could be allocating shifts, booking in training, inducting new colleagues, supporting with supervision’s, ordering medication and ensuring the people we support are supported to manage their finances. You’ll never lose sight of why you choose to do this, as our Seniors are still at the heart of providing day-to-day support.
