Job summary

Middlesex Students' Union (MDXSU) is a student-led charity representing Middlesex University students. The Advice Senior Coordinator provides confidential, impartial guidance across student issues and coordinates casework with the Student Advice Manager.

The role forms part of MDXSU's Grad Development Programme, aimed at developing leadership skills and preparing for future management opportunities while maintaining independence of the Advice Service.

Qualifications

• Independent, confidential and impartial advice to students.
• Experience handling student cases across appeals, extenuating circumstances, misconduct, complaints and finances.
• Willingness to engage in training and service improvements.

Responsibilities

• Manage student casework across academic and funding issues.
• Analyse trends to identify recurring barriers and provide preventative advice.
• Coordinate service delivery with MDXSU and Middlesex University to maintain independent Advice Service.
