Job summary

Middlesex Students’ Union is seeking an Advice Senior Coordinator to deliver independent, confidential guidance to Middlesex University students. You will work with the Student Advice Manager to handle casework across academic processes and student finances, while helping shape better services.

The Grad Development Programme offers a 2-year path from Senior Coordinator toward management, with structured development and progression opportunities within a values-driven charity.

Qualifications

• Recent MDX graduates targeted for this role.
• Ability to demonstrate relevant Students' Union context knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Provide independent, confidential and impartial advice to Middlesex University students.
• Manage student casework across academic appeals, extenuating circumstances, academic misconduct, complaints, student finance and other issues.
• Identify recurring barriers from case trends to contribute to preventative advice and service improvements.
• Collaborate with colleagues across MDXSU and Middlesex University while maintaining the independence of the Advice Service.
