Job summary

Novax Recruitment Group is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor with strong structural steel experience for a London-based role. You will own the commercial management from contract award through final account and lead discussions with clients and subcontractors.

This permanent, full-time position offers up to £85,000 DOE and a pathway to significant project involvement across theLondon market.

Qualifications

5–10 years' Quantity Surveying experience required.
Strong background in structural steelwork or specialist construction.
Understanding commercial challenges around steel fabrication, supply and installation.
Experience managing valuations, variations, applications for payment and final accounts.
Confident in dealing directly with clients, subcontractors and project teams.
Ability to identify commercial risk and protect project margins.

Responsibilities

Own the commercial management of structural steel projects from contract award through to final account.
Manage valuations, applications for payment, variations, change control and commercial reporting.
Protect project margins by identifying commercial risks and opportunities early.
Lead commercial discussions with clients, subcontractors and internal project teams.
Work closely with estimating, project management and delivery teams to keep the commercial position aligned with project progress.
Drive final accounts and resolve commercial issues.
