Job summary

Cornerstone Project Source is seeking a Senior Project Manager in London to lead structural steel installation projects from planning through to completion. You will manage timelines, budgets, safety, subcontractors, contractual obligations and client communications, reporting to the UK Construction Director.

The role requires a track record of 5+ years in structural steel or heavy construction, London project experience, and strong leadership and communication skills.

Qualifications

• London project experience is essential.
• 5+ years as Project Manager in structural steel or heavy construction.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong track record of delivering high-standard results.
• Knowledge of steel construction methods and site operations.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate the project team to oversee all aspects of structural steel installation projects.
• Manage and deliver project timelines and budgets, ensuring milestones are met.
• Lead lookahead planning and communicate with project and site teams.
• Coordinate with clients, engineers, designers, and site personnel for alignment.
• Lead project documentation, including contracts, schedules, RFIs and changes.
• Monitor costs, provide forecasts, and report progress to stakeholders.
• Ensure health, safety and environmental compliance on all sites.
• Oversee quality control and project handover to clients.
