Job summary

Stantec is seeking a Senior or Principal Structural Engineer to lead on the delivery of high‑quality structural engineering projects across the UK, with hybrid working between office and home. The role involves design for concrete, steel and masonry and collaboration with clients to exceed expectations.

You will report to the Specialist Structural Engineering Technical Lead, mentor others, and help grow capability beyond water and energy sectors as part of a dynamic team.

Qualifications

• Lead on delivery of structural engineering projects across sectors.
• Strong knowledge of civil and geotechnical aspects.
• Ability to mentor and develop technical capability within the team.
• Experience reporting to a Senior Technical Lead and collaborating with clients.

Responsibilities

• Lead on the delivery of high-quality structural engineering projects for concrete, steel and masonry structures.
• Carry out structural design and inspections, producing reports that define maintenance and modification requirements.
• Collaborate with clients across the UK to exceed their requirements through technical delivery.
• Support development of structural knowledge and capability within the team.
