Job summary

Stantec is seeking a Senior or Principal Structural Engineer to join our Structural Engineering team in the South region, with hybrid office/home working. You will lead delivery of structural design for concrete, steel and masonry, inspect structures, and produce reports to meet client and regulatory standards.

You will collaborate with clients across the UK, coaching and mentoring others, and contribute to expanding capability beyond water and energy sectors.

Qualifications

• Experience in structural design and delivery of projects.
• Ability to lead and mentor others.
• Good knowledge of civil and geotechnical engineering.
• Familiarity with construction methods for design & build projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead on the delivery of high-quality structural engineering projects across sectors.
• Partner with UK clients to exceed requirements through technical delivery.
• Report to Specialist Structural Engineering Technical Lead and develop technical capability.
• Carry out structural inspections and produce accurate reports defining maintenance/modification needs.
