Job summary

Stantec is seeking a Senior or Principal Structural Engineer to join our growing structural team in the UK, with hybrid working between office and home. You will lead structural design across concrete, steel and masonry, inspect structures, and prepare reports to meet client needs and regulatory standards.

You will report to the Specialist Structural Engineering Technical Lead and help develop our capability across sectors beyond water and energy, collaborating with clients UK-wide.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in structural design across concrete, steel and masonry.
• Knowledge of civil and geotechnical engineering.
• Experience coaching and mentoring team members.

Responsibilities

• Lead on delivery of high-quality structural engineering projects across sectors.
• Report directly to Specialist Structural Engineering Technical Lead; develop structural knowledge and capability.
• Support internal opportunities in sectors beyond water and energy.
• Carry out structural design for concrete, steel and masonry structures; carry out inspections and produce reports to meet client and regulatory standards.
