Job summary

Stantec is seeking a Senior or Principal Structural Engineer to join our growing water sector team in the UK. You will lead on high-quality structural design across concrete, steel and masonry, and partner with clients to exceed project requirements.

You will report to the Specialist Structural Engineering Technical Lead, developing our technical capability and supporting opportunities beyond water and energy in a hybrid office/Home setting.

Qualifications

• Experience leading on structural design across concrete, steel and masonry projects.
• Knowledge of civil and geotechnical engineering disciplines.
• Awareness of construction information needs for design & build projects.
• Ability to coach, mentor and develop technical capability within a team.

Responsibilities

• Lead on delivery of high-quality structural engineering projects across diverse sectors.
• Work with UK clients to meet requirements and regulatory standards.
• Carry out structural design and carry out inspections with accurate reporting.
• Report to the Specialist Structural Engineering Technical Lead and support growth beyond water/energy.
